ABOUT THE COURSE

OVERVIEW
This Course is a review of etiological factors, impact of restorative procedures, diagnostic features, prevalence, clinical management and the new and advanced technologies in aiding the diagnosis of vertical root fractures.
OBJECTIVES
The goal of this presentation is to review the etiological factors and diagnosis of longitudinal fractures, especially vertical fractures and understand the advances and limitations of the new technologies in the diagnosis of vertical fractures.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Luis C. Yepes, D.D.S., obtained his dental degree in 1995 followed by a certification in Endodontics in 1999 from the Pontificia Universidad Javerianan, School of Dentistry Bogota , Colombia. He completed a General Practice Residency program at the University of Kentucky, College of Dentistry.
In June 2009, he started a Fellowship in General Dentistry and Endodontics at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry where he worked as an Instructor at the Clinic and pre-clinic.
Currently, Dr. Yepes is Assistant Professor/Clinical at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, Comprehensive Dentistry, San Antonio, TX
